Trip Cancelation/Interruption Insurance:
We recognize that our guests’ schedules may change for many reasons; business, family, flight delays, injuries and other unplanned events. For these eventualities the Trip Cancellation/Interruption insurance is a great way to protect your investment. We can assure you that events do happen that prevent guests from participating in trips and trip cancellation or interruption insurance is a relatively easy way to manage your level of risk to unforeseen events.
For all your travel insurance requirements we recommend the Simpson Group.
Weather and Mountain Conditions Policy
Mountain weather is unpredictable in all seasons and is a constant factor that shapes the decisions we make before and during our programs. It would not be practical for us to refund every situation where our guests do not get the weather conditions they hope for so we make every effort to develop alternative plans. We know we can control the fun, but we can't control the weather. Please bring the appropriate clothing in case of inclement weather.
In the event of extreme weather, or due to the unforeseen lack of appropriate staff we may cancel a tour for your safety, at which point we will fully refund your reservation and do everyting in our power to help you find a suitable alternative activity.
We are very dedicated to providing the best and smoothest experience possible. In order to accomplish this, we must secure the proper guides and support team necessary ahead of time to make your trip possible. We want to ensure that our guides can depend on our commitment to them as much as our commitment to you. Your commitment to us is the most important part of this process!! Please consider the following.
We require at least a two days notice of cancelation in order for you to receive a full refund. In the event that you are less than two days away from your tour you have the following choices: 1. find someone to take your place, 2. change your tour dates, 3. forgo your refund, or 4. receive a credit.
For Groups of 5 or more, we require a one weeks notice of cancelation in order for you to receive a full refund. In the event that you are less than one week away from your tour, you have the following choices: 1. find someone to take your place, 2. change your tour dates, 3. forgo your refund, or 4. receive a credit.
Liability waivers are an unfortunate but necessary part of any adventure activity. We recommend that you take the time before your tour, or even before your reservation, to thoroughly review this legal document.
Anyone participating in a Moose Trail Overland activity must complete a liability waiver, including minors. In the case of minors, it is very important that a parent or guardian also reads and signs the waiver.
For minors where a parent may not be present on the tour we can arrange for the waivers to be signed ahead of time, or an adult who has been granted guardianship by the parent can sign the minor's waiver. In all other cases the waiver should be signed in the presence of your guide once you have received your pre-trip briefing.
